Plans are beginning to come together for the celebration of TMCC’s 25th Anniversary. We are planning a day-long retreat by Rev. Elder Lillie Brock on Saturday, August 16, and then a joyous 25th Anniversary celebration on Sunday, August 17 with a community-wide worship service and celebration reception. We need volunteers, so please see a BOD member to offer your help and support.

Gainesville Harvest
TMCC has begun participating in Gainesville Harvest to provide food items for the area’s homeless. Please bring any non-perishable food item to church for monthly pick-up by the Gainesville Harvest volunteers, and ultimate distribution to the area’s hungry and homeless. Please use the designated box in the church lobby to leave your gifts. One can a week – that’s all we ask!

The TREE Project
Did you know that TMCC participates in the TREE Project (The Replenishment of Everyday Essentials), a GAAP program, sponsored by Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, provides household and personal hygiene products for persons living with HIV/AIDS and receiving disability or food stamps? These items cannot be purchased with food stamps, and GAAP relies exclusively on donations from the local community. Our TREE box is displayed in the foyer. If possible, please donate any of the following items: shampoo, bath soap, hand sanitizer, toothpaste, mouthwash, paper towels, fabric softener, conditioner, hand soap, shaving cream, toothbrushes, bathroom tissue, laundry detergent, dish detergent, disposable razors, dental floss, facial tissue, bleach, etc. We will deliver the items as quickly as we accumulate them.

In our new approach to this ministry, we’re asking that those who may be physically unable to work outdoors might consider making lunch for our volunteers who keep our grounds cleared, cut and spruced up. A sign-up sheet will be posted for workers and food providers for future workdays. Thank you for your participation!

Get Your Cans (& Flip Tabs) to Church!
Since 1992, we’ve collected over 5,000 lbs of aluminum cans for over $2,000 in profits donated to the Deacon's Fund. This is a wonderful way to raise funds for the church with very little effort. Bring your empty aluminum cans (crushed always appreciated) and put them in the wooden box by the shed or speak to Marcia Millett. Aluminum only!!!
Before you crush that can and bring it to the church, remove the flip tab from the can and bring that also. These flip tabs are collected by Ronald McDonald House and help to provide treatment for children in need. There is a container on the information table in the back of the church.
